A group of eccentric, violent bad guys are after you because you have something they want. But what is it? You need to find out why they're chasing you and figure out how to deal with it, before you come to an unpleasant end.

Paris du Look is a GM-full tabletop roleplaying game about alienated people living in Paris and having misadventures. It's based on Cezar Capacle's Push SRD, which you can find at https://capacle.itch.io/push

The game is two pages plus a couple of character sheets and some brief notes – print the first three pages of the PDF double-sided, flipping on the short edge, and you'll have a set of the game itself on two sides of one page, plus two one-sided character sheets.

It's not exactly Cinéma du look the Roleplaying Game, but it takes a certain set of the themes, characters and situations commonly associated with the movement and explores them through the medium of a collaborative story-game.

For cineastes: Although cinéma du look was a small movement, numbering fewer than a dozen movies, the films were diverse enough that even saying "the game is set in Paris" excludes some of them. As such, while the scene prompts and character traits allude to as much of the genre as I could manage, the game feels most like Diva (1981), Subway (1985) and Les Amants du Pont-Neuf (1991).

For normal people: You don't need to know anything about French 1980s/90s cinema or even Paris to play this. The whole idea is to take the story elements and put them together in a new way. So don't worry about that. Play from the images that the game evokes in you.
