Bear Grylls Gone Wild.

It's a Push-powered game inspired by watching the reality competition show Celebrity Bear Hunt with my family. It's a great concept – Bear Grylls hunts B-list celebrities in the wild – that is difficult to actually produce, which is reflected in a certain cobbled-together feel in the final product. It doesn't quite work, but it's still fun.

With the title Celebrity Bear Hunt, of course, it feels like a missed opportunity not to have ordinary members of the public hunt celebrity bears such as Paddington, Winnie the Pooh or William "the Fridge" Perry. But I imagine their appearance fees would have been astronomical.

Anyway, none of that matters in Bear Grylls Gone Wild, because by the time the game starts, the TV show's format has gone out of the window. You play celebrities in the jungles of Costa Rica to film a survival reality show hosted by Bear Grylls. Something has gone terribly wrong: after eating a psychedelic caterpillar or something, Bear has snapped, imprisoned proper presenter Holly Willoughby, and is now stalking the contestants, i.e. you. Trapped far from help, with only your fame, wits, and a few ill-chosen luxury items, you must outsmart Bear Grylls, rescue Holly, and survive the deadliest episode ever.
